Corbin announced today the addition of their new Dual Sport Saddle designed specifically for the new Ducati Diavel. Designed to fit perfectly to the bike for a custom look and vastly improve the ergonomics of the Diavel, Corbin neutralized the seating posture and did away with the hammock shape to give you excellent support without the pinching feel of the stock seat.
Corbin designed the seating position on the Diavel seat to move the rider back approximately 1.5 inches from the stock seating position. This gives you a bit more seating room and still integrates perfectly with the seat cowling. Seat height is between the stock Ducati seat and their “Tall” seat version which gives us the ability to neutralize the seating platform. I’ve been riding the Hypermotard and tinkering with different bits and pieces for almost three months now. One of the things that struck me most about the stock setup was the ordinary and uncomfortable seat it comes with.
I‘ve had the good fortune of being able to try out a Ducati Performance Racing Seat courtesy of the guys at Ducati City, plus the stock one obviously and a recently acquired very different type of seat – the Sargent sport seat.
There are major differences between all three and I’m finding this out through trial and repeated changes over many kms. Slightly spoiled for choice yes? Obsessed with finding the best, definitely...more
