1965 Ducati Elite 200 manufactured by the Mototrans factory in Spain under licence from Ducati. This is a completly renovated serviced and detailed bike. It is fully functional in all regards and ready for the next Moto Giro. The tank and tool box's were left in orignal paint and the rest has been matched in lacquer. You will notice the gold on the tank is not as bright but it is such a beautiful patina I choose to leave it as is. Tank interior was cleaned and coated with Caswells. Partial list of new parts/nos parts includes, Guiliari saddle, drive chain, wheel bearings, drive sprockets, piston and rings, cylinder sleeve, tires, wheel spokes, grips, clip ons, header pipe, gland nut, muffler, pedal rubber, rear pegs, tailight lens , cables high beam flasher horn switch and much more.. Large valve 27mm inlet cylinder head compleatly rebuilt by Mototrans Ducati expert and automotive mechanical engineer Pablo Ortega in Valencia. Includes slightly hotter then stock camshaft. New hi compression elite piston and new cylinder sleeve bored to 67.2 mm. Bottom end gone thru and serviced by George Vincenci, builder of numerous championship Ducati single and twin race motors. rims are Akront and are original. Wheels are rebuilt with new cad plated as original spokes and nipples. Wireing loom has been cleaned and serviced, is original in all regards and operates perfectly. The horn switch is NOS and different then the usual Aprilia. It has a horn, flasher and hi/low beam switch. Front headlight is 150 mm and is fitted with Motoplat electrics and very cool original headlight lens, a bit different then the Aprilia lens. Chassis was checked for alignment, head bearings and races replaced, New swingarm pivot and bushings installed. Front forks checked for trueness and serviced. Rear shocks rebuilt. All parts on the bike with the exception of the camshaft spec and tires are correct and original. I will include correct nos SAFA battery but you will have to fill with electrolight....More here
