NYC to offer free Wi-Fi, USB charging on new MTA buses - RCR Wireless News

NYC to offer free Wi-Fi, USB charging on new MTA buses - RCR Wireless News | consumer psychology | Scoop.it

"New York City's transit system is undertaking a major,mobile-focused upgrade of public buses. New MTA buses will have Wi-Fi and dozens of charging ports ..."

Marcos Santiago's curator insight, March 30, 2016 3:23 AM
this article is about NYC upgrading their buses. they are adding free wi-fi hot spots, and USB charging for passengers. obviously, they can't just replace all of their buses in one day so this project will take months to finish. they want to eventually replace all of their buses by the end on 2017. this may not seem as surprising to many people, but i see this as a huge thing, because everything is being modernized to new things and new technology. i am a computer science major and i love technology. reading about these new things get me so interested because i see this as making the future better to help people be more productive. some of these buses will even have two or three monitors to show the weather and other important things. i don't think that this article is biased, because it is talking about buses being upgraded. this is just informing others about it, i also think that this source is reliable, because it has a lot of info about the project and when it is supposed to happen and how it is supposed to be.
