Ducati UK, in association with Focused Events, have organised the ultimate track day for Ducatisti at the World famous Donington Park Circuit.
The Leicestershire Circuit, scene of Ducati’s first ever World Superbike win, will play host to the thunderous sound of Ducatis in their natural playground. The track day will take place on Tuesday 28 May and will be held on the full Donington GP Circuit.

May 24, 2012 - Winchendon, MA – AMA Superbike star, Eric Bostrom, and Ducati Icon and Hall of Fame member, Cook Neilson, will join the Penguin Roadracing School’s staff for a special Ducati track day event at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) on June 25, 2012. Students will have an opportunity to interact and learn from the special guests throughout the day as well as getting track time with Eric Bostrom who won the last AMA Superbike race held at NHMS.
Penguin is thrilled to have Eric Bostrom and Cook Neilson joining them for their special Ducati track day event. “The unique opportunity to learn from professionals like Eric and Cook, who successfully competed at such high levels of motorsport racing, is consistent with our rider training mission and with our goal of providing an enhanced track day experience,” said Eric Wood, President of the Penguin Roadracing School.
The multi-talented Eric Bostrom rode for Ducati in 2004 and 2005. His motorcycle career includes World and AMA Superbike competition as well as championships in Dirt Track, Supertwins, Formula Extreme and Supersport. He is currently chasing the Pro Mountain Bike Ultra-Endurance Tour (Pro UET) championship with support from Team Sho-air/Specialized. The grueling bicycle endurance series includes 50 mile to 12 hour races. Eric also races Cyclo Cross in the winter against his brother Ben. In addition to his competition career you can find riding impressions and articles written by Eric in current motorcycle magazines.

AMA and Ducati motorcycle Hall of Fame member, former motorcycle journalist, and Superbike Racer, Cook Nielson, will be featured in a lunch time Q & A that will be hosted by school founder, Jerry Wood. Jerry witnessed first-hand Cook’s celebrated 1977 Daytona Superbike victory on a Phil Schilling-tuned Ducati 750 Supersport as he was a fellow Daytona competitor. During his racing career, Neilson had thirty-eight starts and twenty wins on the Ducati 750SS.
The unique Ducati events are hosted by the Penguin Roadracing School in conjunction with participating Ducati dealers and supported by Ducati North America. The events are open to all motorcycle riders, regardless of brand. The Penguin Roadracing School returns to New Jersey Motorsports Park for the year’s best motorcycle track event, Penguin Revs New Jersey with Ducati. The event will take place May 7, 2012 and is hosted by the Penguin Roadracing School in conjunction with participating Ducati dealers.
This year’s event will feature representatives from Penske Racing Shocks, Arai Helmets, Vanson Leathers, Dunlop Tire, Street and Competition, Owens Photography and SportBikes Inc. The event will also include a lunch time Q & A with Ducati Legend and Hall of Fame Tuner, Eraldo Ferracci.
Off track entertainment will include a special performance by Ducatisti and X-Game superstar, Jamie Bestwick. ( http://www.monsterenergy.com/ca/ca_fr/athletes/jamie-bestwick:videos/ ) The Monster Energy Rider will be performing along with the Rise Above BMX team.
The event provides hours of track time including one-on-one training, riding tips and track secrets with top rated riding instructors. In addition to track time, participants will be able to take advantage of classroom instruction that includes courses covering body position, suspension tuning and riding technique. HD cameras are available for riders interested in-depth video analysis of their riding style.
The event is open to all motorcycle riders, regardless of brand, and suitable for riders of all experience levels. Space is limited so you must pre-register.
