It was the result of three great forces combining to build a beloved motorcycle that tugged at the heart-strings of the Ducatisti around the globe. The legendary feats of Mike “the Bike” Hailwood, the brilliance of head Ducati designer Pierre Terblanche and the global power of a relatively new communications tool for the masses, the internet. The result was the limited run Ducati MH900e of which only 2000 were built over a period of two years. Special edition Ducati's have always held their value and leaving them standard is just what you're meant to do. But Roland Sands got Italian blood boiling when he chopped up a Desmosedici and created a 200hp tracker. Now it's Germany's superstar builder Marcus Walz's turn to improve on perfection, it's the WalzWerk Racing MH900e.

from the seller:
This is #1907 of 2000 of these special edition models. I’ve used it only as (heated, dehumidified) garage art, up on a stand, looking pretty. A beautiful piece of mechanical sculpture. It comes with the Ducati stand, a spare set of directional signals, and factory manuals.

The Story Of Malattia
Once upon a time there was bad MH900e called Hailey …… ?
OK, the creation of Malattia came about in an unusual way, in some ways an unfortunate string of events and some character building moments but now with a happy ending.
The history started way back when it was seemingly a normal MH900e, as time progressed so did the failures of components, I won’t go into much detail but it was enough to classify the bike as a Lemon.
This was very unfortunate and to be fair was the big turning point for developing a big dislike for the bike, even as beautiful as she was she was like the supermodel girlfriend that looked great in public but kept cheating on you....
