“I started racing in the Northeast in 1968. At the time there was just one roadrace a year at the old Bryar Motorsports Park (now New Hampshire Motor Speedway). Then in ’73 AAMRR came to Bryar, so there were regular roadraces. I raced continuously from that point on. By ’82 my wife and I had established three businesses and were very busy, so I decided to switch my focus to vintage racing, which was more relaxed.
“I got the Supermono in ’95, at age 48. After years on vintage machinery, the Ducati made me a real racer again. My fellow competitors complained about the 577cc single’s power, but it only makes 68 bhp! What makes it fast is the handling: You can run it into a corner as fast as you dare, turn it and get on the gas immediately without it sliding and high-siding. In 16 years of racing it, I’ve only crashed it twice: once when a rider ran me off the track and once when I hit oil.

These are going thru a owner "turn" right now. (meaning there are a few for sale when for long periods there are none) Fairly safe to say these are not far behind 750SS "green frames" in investment value
