Cardion AB Racing’s Karel Abraham put in yet another strong performance at the AirAsia Australian Grand Prix last weekend, dicing with the factory Ducati pair and finishing in ninth.

Karel Abraham and the Cardion AB team will switch to Aprilia CRT machinery for the 2013 MotoGP World Championship.
Abraham and the team owned by his father moved up to MotoGP with satellite Ducati machinery for the start of 2011.
However the recent announcement that Pramac Ducati would field both of the satellite Desmosedicis next year confirmed that Cardion would need new equipment.
A deal between Cardion and Aprilia was signed at Misano on Friday, which will see the Czech team remain in the premier-class, albeit within the privateer CRT category for non-manufacturer prototypes.
Upon announcing the Aprilia agreement, team manager Karel Abraham Sr reflected on a much harder second season for his son - and insisted they had turned down the chance to continue with Ducati.

Cardion AB Racing’s Karel Abraham has taken his doctors’ advice to pull out of the MotoGP™ race at Mugello in Italy this weekend.
The Czech team, which last weekend had official Ducati test rider Franco Battaini ride for them at the Sachsenring, is unable to field a replacement rider at the Italian race. Battaini’s commitments at the following test on Monday have ruled him out of contention, while there is no other rider available with sufficient experience on the Desmosedici.

Karel Abraham,Ducati Cardion AB Motoracing rider could keep the Czech MotoGP rider away from the next round at Silverstone in less than 10 days after two falls and a major injury.
Karel Abraham who the Czech rider suffered a number of heavy falls which resulted in injuries to his left hand. With clearly visible wounds, the initial assessment at the Clinica Mobile was that Abraham had supposedly broken two fingers. Until further assessment says otherwise, this could lead to Abraham missing the British Grand Prix at Silverstone circuit....More here
