A field of 18 rare and significant Ducati’s will appear at the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance on March 10, 2013, led by the seminal “Cucciolo” that, in 1946, began Ducati’s rise to the pinnacle of motorcycle excellence and success. Ducati is the fourth motorcycle marque to be honored by “The Amelia” with a one class display on the concours field of The Golf Club at Summer Beach.
This event takes place March 10th during the first weekend of Daytona bike week just over an hour North of Daytona Beach. It's a beautiful event and a perfect start for Daytona Bike Week for anyone who appreciates Ducati Unobtanium...

Circuit of The Americas, the Austin racetrack that hosts the annual Formula 1 race, has named Mel Harder senior vice president and general manager. Harder spent 22 years with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The Ducati apparel fashion show didn't hurt, but it was the motorcycles on the convention floor turned more heads than the models on the runway at this weekend's Progressive International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach.
Stefano Sbettega, marketing and communications director for Ducati North America, stood among the gleaming red, black and white machines -- near the espresso bar, in front of the red, black and white cupcakes, just to the side of the Ducati champagne -- and said that although the company is happy with the American response to its motorcycles, the year to come may well be Ducati's best....

Nudes, bodypaint and yoga have come together to create some intriguing "human motorcycles".
The "motorcycles" will tour with the Progressive International Motorcycle Shows in the US and are a culmination of collaboration between body paint artist Trina Merry and Ryan Berman.
The net result was three "human motorcycles" - a Ducati sport bike, a KTM dirt bike and a Harley-Davidson cruiser - which were created over three days.

Progressive International Motorcycle Show
This weekend, the 2011-2012 Progressive International Motorcycle Show heads to Long Beach, Calif.
Some of the highlights of Long Beach IMS include many personalities throughout the motorcycle industry, including MotoGP star Ben Spies, Bonneville Salt Flats record-holder Leslie Porterfield, FASTEST MotoGP producer Mark Neale and racing legend Kevin Scwantz, to name a few.
Besides the personalities, there will be events to please every type of motorcyclists, including stunt shows from Smage Bros, helmet tech with Arai, the unveiling of some new motorcycles from Victory and the Ultimate Builder Competition.

Seacoast NEDOC IMS Bus Trip Sunday 1/20/2013
NEDOC is happy to announce, in cooperation with Seacoast Sport Cycle, a Bus Trip to the International Motorcycle Show at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, 655 W. 34th St. New York, NY 10001.
The Bus will leave the Seacoast Sport Cycle parking lot (208 Rockingham rd. Derry NH) at 6am Sunday January 20th. Our Second stop will be at The Shaw's Shopping Plaza 700 S Main St, Sharon, MA just off exit 8 on Interstate 95 the bus will leave the Shaws parking lot at 7:45 am and arrive in NY at 11.30am. We will depart from the show at 4:00pm (sharp), stopping at the same southern New England location on the return trip to Seacoast. You will be able to BYOB on the bus. No kegs, glass bottles or red wine is allowed on the motor coach and coolers must fit under the seats, and not to be in the aisle ways. 55 spots are available at $50.00 per person for the bus ride, signup at Seacoast Sport Cycle, or call 603 437-5656 to get on the bus! We will have motorcycles movies playing all the way down. I have the 30th Anniversary special edition of the movie " Take It To The Limit" starring Barry Sheene, Mike Hailwood, Kenny Roberts as our main feature for the ride down. Tickets for the show can be purchased online at New York International Motorcycle Show or at the Javits Center the day of the trip. It is strongly recommended that you purchase your tickets online ahead of time, as they will be less expensive and you will not have to wait in line. $3.00 off any 1-day adult ticket purchased online with promo code: "DUCATI3". Save an extra $2 on tickets when you buy online two weeks in advance of show dates. We missed doing this last year, but we have always had a great time in previous years. Let's fill the bus. Preview 2013: The International Motorcycle Show Comes to Our Hood from Ari Henning
Wherever you live, odds are that some time between early November and late February you’ll hear about or see advertising for the International Motorcycle Show. IMS shows are held across the U.S., offering up a feast of motorcycle excitement in the middle of winter—when moto-stimulation is often at its lowest. This coming weekend, IMS is in Long Beach, CA, not far from our sprawling offices in El Segundo. The event runs from 4pm on Friday, December 7, to Sunday, December 9 at the Long Beach Convention Center.
