Ducati has built and brought to market another extremely successful piece of engineering with the new Hypermotard SP. Beautiful to look at and exhilarating to ride, the dramatically updated 2013 model of the Italian company's supermoto bike is fast and fierce, and equal parts demanding and rewarding. It's basically a race bike, which means it's not a cozy mount for a cruise up the coast. The ready-for-the-track set-up means stiff suspension, an unforgiving seat, increased seat height, plenty of engine heat and a muffler growl that will wake the neighbors.
In other words, it's awesome. I enjoyed my first hour on this bike as much as I've enjoyed any ride this year.

MotoGeo - http://www.motogeo.com The all new 2013 Ducati Hypermotard got its first public road and track test in Rhonda, Spain at the International press launch.
The Hypermotard has been redesigned to be more user-friendly while also being less maintenance-intensive. Ronda, Spain—If there was one complaint we had about the first-generation Ducati Hypermotard, it was a lack of versatility. Its unforgiving riding position and wedge-like seat made escaping even your own neighborhood an uncomfortable exercise in willpower. But if you did manage to venture out and find a tight, twisty road, the payoff was awesome. Comfort, however, is not an issue with Ducati’s new 2013 Hypermotard. Its riding position is far more relaxed, thanks to a taller handlebar and more than 3 extra inches of space between the bar and seat. Additionally, the footpegs have been moved forward by almost 3 inches, helping to create a more upright riding position.
Ducati’s Hypermotard credibly captures the athletic character and hooligan attitude of a true supermotard without any of the conventional compromises.
A review and riding impressions of the 2013 Ducati Hypermotard and Hypermotard SP.
Ducati's all-new, water-cooled, 2013 Hypermotard is currently being put through its paces in southern Spain by MCN Senior Road Tester Michael Neeves. Here are his first impressions:
The air-cooled engines are gone from the Hypermotard family, and have been replaced with just one motor - the new liquid-cooled 821cc Testastretta 11° powerplant. The Hypermotard SP comes standard with the Ducati Safety Pack (ABS and traction control), three power modes (Race, Sport, and Wet), long-travel 50mm aluminum Marzocchi forks, Öhlins shock with piggyback reservoir, Marchesini forged aluminum wheels, Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tires, radial front brake pump, tapered aluminum bars, and a carbon fiber front fender and cam belt covers. The lower-spec standard Hypermotard cuts $2,700 from the price.
Ducati introduces the 2013 Hypermotard, a bike as striking as it is fun to ride. Presented as a concept back in 2005 in Milan, the Hypermotard came home with a “Best of Show” award. It was clearly on a good path so here we are, with the new generation. This track-ready beast is no toy: the Desmodue Evoluzione 1,078cc L-Twin engine blasts a 75.9 ft-lbs (almost 105 Nm) torque which will simply rip the asphalt under your tires.

The Hypermotard series is growing long in the tooth, and while everyone expects the Ducati’s smaller Superbike to get revamped in 2013, here is some evidence to suggest that the big news at EICMA this year will be an all-new Hypermotard model. Expected to have a water-cooled motor, best guesses would have the new Hypermotard using the 849cc Testastretta power plant, which would dovetail nicely with the supersport-sized Superbike getting an ~800cc variant of the new Superquadro motor.

(Translated from Italian) How much does it cost! Jennifer Aniston has spent more than 500 thousand U.S. dollars on her boyfriend Justin Theroux . All in gifts. That's right, the star and girlfriend in these eleven months has really shown to have an accordion wallet, as they say, and be willing to play it quite frequently to his sweetheart. The huge figure includes gifts of respect, like the leather jacket that belonged to James Dean (12 thousand dollars), a painting by Genn Ligon (450 thousand dollars) and two motorcycles, a Ducati from 33 thousand and 24 thousand U.S. dollars for a Harley Davidson. She also spent more than a million to furnish their new home in Los Angeles and 750 thousand dollars for an expert in feng sui. 'E' in a position of great advantage, economically speaking, so why not spend it for the man she loves? "Said a friend of Jennifer. Neither, in fact, seems embarrassed by the spree Aniston: With 120 million dollars of income, who can blame them?

2013 Ducati Hypermotard SP Nestled deep into the craggy, mountainous ridges high above Spain's Costa del Sol is Ascari Race Resort, a 3.35-mile racetrack whose luxurious accommodations and immaculate tarmac seem to simultaneously contradict and complement its rugged surroundings. That duality of temperament – the sheer extravagance of a world class circuit amidst the wilds of nature – echoes the character of Ducati's new Hypermotard SP. Ascari was the perfect place for us to experience the latest motard-style offering from Italy's most famous motorcycle manufacturer.

Thanks of 'opportunity you give me to publish what I did to my Ducati. Attached are some photos of the work in detail, and there are many more than you choose what you think are the best. Starting point is a hyper 1100s in 2008.The evolution begins at soft with full Termignoni exhaust tail under double filter and a dedicated ECU. Then I pushed more in terms of aesthetics buying the full set of fairings in carbon and at that time came out of the special luis bike that inspired me to develop my own. In short, everything I've done, everything you see both mechanical and body I did, except for the seat cover....

Last month, we brought you a photo of what we believed to the new Ducati Hypermotard 848. There was a bit of chatter after the photo hit the internets, as some believed the bike to be akin to the Multistrada line. While the telemetry rack on the bike of the machine, and its side-mounted GP-style exhaust followed the design ethos of the Multistrada 1200, the bike’s seat, mud gaurd, and overall aesthetic were reminiscent of the current Hypermotard. Seemingly confirming our suspicions, these photos of the likely 2013 Ducati Hypermotard 848 add further credence to our Hypermotard line of reasoning — especially with the front of the motorcycle being seen more clearly. Expected to have a detuned lump from the Ducati Superbike 848 EVO, photos of the liquid-cooled middleweight create more questions about the machine than they do answers....More here
A hot chick washes her motorbike in front of some very excited spectators. We shot this for a competition over a few hours on a sweltering day in Singapore. We had a lot of fun making it and hope you enjoy!
The looks of the stock Ducati Hypermotard was never our style – it had way to much elements that was unnecessary spoiling the raw energy packed in the brilliantly thought hooligan machine. So actually – the Hypermotars is really easy bike to customize – ditch the silly looking mirrors and grip protectors, change the original “why-did-it-have-to-go-under-the-seat” exhaust and tie up the rear, and you’ll be laughing. This particular owner went a bit further, changing the stock wheels for the spoked units. The end result – perfect custom Hyper. Hit the headline link above for the story and full gallery.
