There is no rivalry in MotoGP more bitter than that between Valentino Rossi and Casey Stoner, more bitter even than the one between Wayne Rainey and Kevin Schwantz. It has been a constant element in their relationship since Stoner won his first MotoGP title in 2007 (ironically, Stoner named Rossi as one of his heroes on the t-shirt he wore to celebrate that championship), though hardly a surprise, as the two men are polar opposites in almost every respect, except for their prodigious talent. The rivalry has intensified over the years, stoked by a series of incidents (nicely outlined by the peerless Italian website GPOne.com recently), including the booing of Stoner by Rossi fans at Donington in 2008, the epic battle at Laguna Seca in 2008, and the war of words between the two in 2010, ahead of Rossi's move to Ducati....

The brand new Dainese VR46 Leather Jacket is built on the chassis of the extremely popular Dainese Racing Leather, but features the branding and hi-viz yellow seen on almost everything worn by MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi. It matches well with some of the other VR46 gear, such as the VR46 Sport Gloves. This jacket is a premium leather construction with co-injected shoulder armor topped by aluminum sliders. It features a back pocket for a CE back protector, a sanitized lining, air intakes and exhausts and strategic reflective paneling. If you're a Valentino fan looking for a new leather, this could be the pick for you.

Dainese & AGV in 2012 Motorcycle Racing The 2012 season is about to start.
The 2012 season is about to start. Dainese & AGV have decided to invest in a group of talented riders and confirm their participation in the racing world at international level.
Dainese will be dressing the Ducati Corse riders in the MotoGP class: Valentino Rossi, a long-time Dainese spokesman and AGV ambassador and, for the second year running, the US rider and 2006 world champion, Nicky Hayden.
Mattia Pasini and Danilo Petrucci, both Italian MotoGP riders, this year continue their cooperation with the Dainese & AGV team. Stefan Bradl, who has moved up from Moto2 to MotoGP, is also riding for the red devil.
In the Moto2 class, Dainese & AGV sponsor four riders: Simone Corsi and Pol EspargaroÌ€, already members of the team, and Andrea Iannone and Gino Rea, new entries this year. All four are equipped with the D-air® Racing system. Once again this year, AGV will be sponsoring the Como rider, Claudio Corti.
In the Moto3 class, Dainese & AGV sponsor: Luis Salom, equipped with the D-air® Racing system, Romano Fenati, Alessandro Tonucci, Luigi Morciano and the entire Italia FMI Team, and NiccoloÌ€ Antonelli of the Gresini Team. Always in the Moto3 class, an agreement has been signed with the Mahindra Racing Team to sponsor the riders Danny Webb and Marcel Schroetter (Dainese & AGV) and all the staff of the Indian team.
In the World Superbike class, Dainese continues to sponsor 2010 world champion, Max Biaggi, together with riders Leon Haslam, Mark Aitchinson (Dainese & AGV) and Tom Sykes. The other riders competing under the Dainese flag will be Niccolò Canepa (Dainese & AGV) and Federico Sandi....More

Known for protecting some of the all-time greats of motorcycling and thanks to the expertise reached in the safety field, Dainese has branched out into winter sports protection, mountain biking and a new equestrian range.
The Italian company is proud to present its own new mmagazine through a first publication dedicated to speed, which is aptly named Speed.
The magazine was created in partnership with creative English agency The Church of London and the main
concept comes from the history behind the devil’s logo, and from the prestigious heritage of a company that is approaching its 40th year. Great sources of inspiration have been sports people who count on Dainese to face their challenges: great riders and athletes such as nine-time MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi, the star
of the Tourist Trophy of the Isle of Man Guy Martin, skiing’s Maria Hoefl-Reisch and mountain-biking’s Karim Amour, who thanks to their stories uncover the charm of the sports where they are protagonists.
Looking through the pages of the magazine you will find a photographic section dedicated to Mountain of Hell mountain-bike race for MTB, Freeride and Downhill lovers, disputed in Les Deux Alpes. Moreover you can discover some products of Dainese’s new winter collection, shot in the exclusive location of Zermat(Switzerland) with a series of stunning landscapes.
