(auto translation from Italian) Jeremy Burgess is leaning on a crate outside of the pits at Laguna Seca , looks at his boys to open the boxes and the "house" of GP12 for the weekend is slowly taking shape, with red panels that hide the gray concrete walls. " I love coming to this track - he says, enjoying the sun warming his skin - it's more than twenty years since the first time we came here and never drop a drop of rain . " To make the perfect weekend would also serve a great performance from Valentino. " I was thinking earlier this week that will fight for the top two positions - reveals a surprise - I could not do otherwise. Then maybe after the first free practice session I change my mind , "he concludes, laughing. "He's a realist, he knows he's perhaps not at the level of Casey (Stoner) and Lorenzo but he certainly believes he can race with the rest of them," Burgess said. "At some point in your life you're not as good as you once were....more here: http://www.foxsports.com.au/motor-sports/moto-gp/valentino-rossis-long-time-engineer-jeremy-burgess-hints-that-the-motogp-legend-is-past-his-prime/story-fn2ms4i4-1226321784807 Delete the scoop?

MotoGP is no different than any other global sport: It relies on superstars to sustain and build its popularity. Valentino Rossi has been the supernova of the premier class for more than a decade, easily the most popular and charismatic two-wheeled road racer on Earth since his 500cc debut in 2000. But if you're looking for the legend with the most longevity and a resume to match or exceed Rossi's, then focus on the guy standing or sitting next to The Doctor with the wavy, salt-and-pepper hair and professorial glasses, crew chief Jeremy Burgess....More Delete the scoop?
