Novegro is one of the largest Italian motorcycle swap meets held every year AND it's the same week as the Milan motorcycle show. I hadn't been in a couple of years so I headed over with some friends to check it out. Biggest difference? The Ducati stuff we never used to see was here in droves. That's a good thing. I have included a ton of photos this gallery because, well, it's acres and acres and you almost never see the same thing twice. So go get a beverage and join me for a walk around one of the coolest places a motorcycle lover could ever want to visit.

Lots of photos, SO much rare Ducati stuff this year!
At some point the motorcycle industry forgot that bikes are supposed to be fun. They don't have to be overpowered enablers of natural selection or obscenely styled, over-priced midlife crisis machines or vapidly retro fashion trinkets. They just need to be fun. And the new Ducati Scrambler is exactly that.
“Often I was six tenths from Marquez after one sector so being six tenths from Marquez at the end of the lap was great!”.

They could not have been more different.

There was never any doubt the Ducati Scrambler was going to sound good. It's using a variant of the same V-twin as the old Monster 796, which always delivered an unmistakable Italian aria once it was uncorked. But nothing prepared us for the aural delights of the new Duc with its first aftermarket can. Oh yes, the Scrambler lust is strong.
1958 Ducati 200 Elite For Sale
I know I featured a couple of these just a few days ago, but this Elite is an absolute gem. The Ducati 200 Elite was the Italian firm’s largest-displacement bike when it was introduced – a whopping 204cc when they bored out the popular 175cc engine.

There's plenty of buzz going around for the new Ducati Scrambler, and if you couldn't tell, we're pretty excited over here too! We're planning on getting one ASAP and building something like the Bullitt OG, but with a little Ducati flair. Scratching our heads and looking around the web, we've found some pretty promising mock-ups. The street tracker inspired design above is by Nuno Capêlo of Capelos Garage. We have and handful of other great Scrambler concepts below that are currently pinned up on our inspiration boards. Check 'em out and let us know which one you like most.
